![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Part 3 offers a brief interview between Strobel and Licona in which they discuss the 'Minimal Facts' argument, which strives to keep people's biases in check. Part 2 includes Luke's Gospel account of Jesus' death and resurrection, including some excerpts from Strobel's "The Case for Christ Study Bible." He then claims that the Gospel writer Luke the physician, is sort of a first century investigative reporter, which is why Lee chooses to use this Gospel specifically to examine the evidence. As a result, he went to church and had a positive experience, which led him to utilize his investigative skills into determining if there really was any truth towards what was all being claimed. ![]() After acting out in lots of unhealthy ways in front of his wife and daughter, his wife became a Christian, which had a huge impact on her attitude and actions as 1 Peter 3:1-7 teaches. Part 1 explains author Lee Strobel's personal journey as atheist-turned-Christian who was an investigative journalist (also former law degree from Yale) for the Chicago Tribune newspaper. This book is sort of a condensed version of Gary Habermas and Michael Licona's book "The Case for the Resurrection of Jesus." There are 4 parts to the book: Without it, the faith is in vain (1 Corinthians 15:17). The Christian faith hinges on the resurrection of Jesus. ![]()
